Nice to meet you

I think it can be difficult to bring those closest to you, to Christ. My mom... well, I don't know WHAT she believes. She gets very defensive if asked why she doesn't go to church. My dad is the one who goes to church faithfully. She almost seems hateful towards the Christian preachers he listens to, the music he listens to, the time he puts into his devotions etc. Witnessing to someone that close and yet so turned off and not even knowing WHY they are turned off, is hard. In cases like that, it helps to know you can pray and ask God to put people into their lives to help lead them to the Lord. Yes, the person God intends might be you, but you can also pray for a softening of the heart. You cannot force or push Jesus on people. They have to want Him and be ready.

Important point. I do think it is all of our call as the body of christ to GO and make disciples. I am also a firm believer that we need to go out to the highways and biways and make this a reality. I know that a watered down gospel today has changed this thinking...but we are all ministers of god and called to go and testify of Christ. We can do it!!! With His strength!!! Get well soon!!!!
